ATS – Vacancy Request & Approval
Installing this workflow tells Sense to hold every new vacancy for approval before it goes live: instead of a vacancy being added and published automatically, Sense routes it to the approvers you've named, and only moves it forward once one of them says yes.
How it works
Add your approver IDs then let Sense route every vacancy for approval
To use the ATS – Vacancy Request & Approval workflow, simply request the workflow template from Sense support, then configure the two approval activities at the top of the workflow designer with your chosen approvers' Consumer IDs, taken from their Sense HR profile URLs.
Then, every time an ATS user adds a vacancy, Sense will automatically send your named approvers an email and push notification asking them to review it in the Vacancy Requests tile on the mobile app.
If an approver declines a vacancy, then it moves to a Rejected tab where it can be amended and resubmitted, and either way the requester gets an email once a decision has been made.
Before deploying this workflow, you'll need to undeploy the default 'ATS - Auto Approve Vacancies' workflow so vacancies stop approving themselves.

What kicks this workflow off?
An ATS user adding a new vacancy.
Who gets notified?
The approvers you've named get an email and push notification when a vacancy is waiting on them. The person who requested the vacancy gets an email once a decision has been made.
What happens if a vacancy is declined?
It moves to a Rejected tab, where it can be amended and resubmitted for approval.
How do we set the approvers?
By adding each approver's Consumer ID, found on their Sense HR profile URL, to the workflow in JSON format, either for a single approver or a list of several.
Do we need to change anything else in the ATS?
Yes. Because vacancies are approved automatically by default, you need to undeploy the 'ATS - Auto Approve Vacancies' workflow before this one takes over.
