Common questions on the Partner Program.

How is revenue share calculated and paid?+
Revenue share is calculated on the net monthly subscription value of each customer you refer. Referral partners get 20% for the first 12 months, consultant partners get 25% for the lifetime of the customer. Paid quarterly in arrears, via bank transfer or PayPal. Everything visible in your partner dashboard.
Do I need to be HR-qualified to be a consultant partner?+
No specific qualification is required, but we expect consultant partners to have either CIPD-level HR experience or an established practice helping SMBs with HR. The Sense Certified Consultant training brings everyone up to the same product level — HR knowledge is on you.
What does "co-sell" mean for consultant partners?+
If you bring a prospect to Sense, we'll join the demo call with you. You stay the lead relationship; we handle product depth, pricing and technical questions. The customer signs with Sense, you keep 25% revenue share, and we don't compete with you on implementation work.
What APIs are available for tech partners?+
Full REST API with read and write access to all major Sense HR objects (employees, leave, absence, performance, T&A, ATS). Outbound webhooks for HR events. SCIM 2.0 for identity providers. OAuth 2.0 / OIDC. See the Integrations page for the full list.
Is there a partner agreement / commercial contract?+
Yes. Referral partners sign a short online agreement — no minimum, no exclusivity. Consultant and tech partners sign a more standard partner agreement with annual renewal. Both are reviewed by your legal team before signing. We share the template before the discovery call so you know what to expect.
What if I'm a customer first, partner second?+
Common, particularly for HR consultants and accountants. The cleanest route is to sign up as a customer (Team or Elite), then upgrade your contract to include the Partner Program. Your team always gets free Sense HR seats — that's part of being a partner.
Do you have reseller / white-label options?+
Not as a published track at the moment. We do have a small number of reseller and white-label arrangements with strategic partners, typically structured around a minimum annual commit. If that's your model, get in touch via the application form and select "Not sure — tell me more."
How long does activation take?+
Most partners are activated within two weeks of the discovery call. Referral partners are usually live in days. Consultant partners take 2–3 weeks because of certification training. Tech partners depend on the integration scope but most ship a first version inside 4–6 weeks.
