Our sites move every few weeks. Is that a problem?

No. The Sense Clock is self-install, and there is no setup fee. Move it to the next site when the job ends.

Can operatives without a smartphone clock in?

Yes. They can tap a low-cost ID card on the Sense Clock, or wear a Sense Badge, which has a fingerprint reader and needs no phone.

Can we use Sense for agency operatives?

Yes. Agency operatives clock in the same way as your direct staff, so you can check their hours site by site against the agency's invoice.

Can Sense store CSCS cards and other tickets?

Yes. Store each operative's CSCS card, plant tickets and training records in their HR record, with expiry dates. Sense reminds you before anything runs out.

How does Sense stop buddy clocking?

The Sense Clock shows a one-use code, and each account works on one phone only, so nobody can clock in for a colleague. For extra checks, add a fingerprint or face clock, or use the fingerprint reader on the Sense Badge.

How does fire roll call work?

Sense knows who has clocked in, so a fire marshal can start a roll call from the clock-in list and mark people safe at the assembly point. You can see straight away who is still missing.

What happens if someone falls or needs help?

With the Sense Badge, a hard fall or a press of the SOS button sends an alert to the people you choose, with the person's location. Alerts go to your own team, not a 24/7 response centre.

Does Sense work with our payroll?

Yes. Sense sends verified hours to Sage, Xero, BrightPay and PayCaptain, and to any other payroll by export, including outsourced payroll. Managers approve the hours first, so payroll only gets hours that have been checked.
