Sense Badge features

Clock In or Out

Track time automatically

Each Sense Badge pings the Sense Gateways at your sites, to reveal staff location and clock them in or out whenever they enter or leave a working zone. Use basic "on-site" confirmation, or track by room or zone.

See how Gateways work
Verify Identity

Verify each hour and task

The fingerprint scanner on the back of each Badge can be used to verify a person's identity when they enter a site or complete a task, so that nobody can clock in for a friend or take credit for somebody else's work.

Man Down and SOS

SOS button and fall alerts

The Sense Badge detects hard falls, sudden impacts, or a lack of movement, and can trigger an automatic SOS call with a precise location. Lone workers who feel uncomfortable can also push a manual SOS button.

Durable Hardware

Made for hands-on work

The Sense Badge is durable, drop-proof, and clips to any belt, bag, or pocket. It also resists water ingress, and that's because most people using it are working in busy, dirty, hands-on environments.

"Our staff feel completely supported knowing we can respond instantly when they request assistance."

FAQ

Sense Badge questions

Browse these frequently asked questions about the Sense Badge

What is the Sense Badge?

The Sense Badge is a wearable device for staff who don't have a work phone or laptop. It clocks them in and out, checks who they are with a fingerprint, raises an SOS alert if they fall or need help, shows their tasks, and shares their location indoors and out.

Do staff need a phone to use the Badge?

No. Everything they need is on the Badge's touch screen, so staff can clock in, see their tasks and call for help without a phone or email address.

How does the Badge clock staff in?

With a Sense Gateway at each entrance, AutoClock clocks staff in as they arrive and out as they leave. There is nothing to tap or scan, and the hours go straight into their timesheet.

How does fingerprint verification work?

The fingerprint scanner on the back of the Badge checks who is wearing it when they arrive on site or finish a task. Nobody can clock in for a friend or take credit for someone else's work.

Can the Badge detect a fall?

Yes. The Badge detects hard falls, sudden impacts and a lack of movement, and can raise an automatic SOS alert with the person's location. Staff can also press the SOS button themselves.

Does it work outdoors?

Yes. The Badge switches between GPS, UWB and Bluetooth, so it works indoors and out.

What is the difference between the Sense Badge and the Sense Tag?

Both clock staff in automatically, show which room they are in, and have an SOS button. The Sense Badge adds hard fall alerts, a fingerprint scanner, a touch screen for tasks, GPS outdoors and indoor navigation.

Is the Badge tough enough for warehouses and building sites?

Yes. It is drop proof and water resistant, and clips to a belt, bag or pocket, so it suits busy, dirty, hands-on work.

Does it track staff when they are not at work?

No. Sense is for working time only, and staff are not tracked outside it.
