Cycle Carryover Limit Workflow

Sense can cap how much of a selected leave balance carries into the next cycle. On the configured date, it checks each employee's balance, keeps the amount within the cap and expires the excess.

Cycle Carryover Limit Workflow

How it works

This is useful for policies such as TOIL where balances should not build indefinitely.

1

Choose leave type and cap

Choose the leave type, run date and maximum carryover.

2

Check employee balances

Sense checks each employee's remaining balance.

3

Expire excess

Any amount above the configured cap is expired.

4

Report to admins

Admins receive a report showing affected employees.
